Voices from the past
February 2000 saw the publication of Warrington Voices researched and compiled by the Museum's Community Liaison Officer. This treasury of memories features the reminiscences of local people on topics such as childhood, shopping, working life and the War years. The publication is fully illustrated with images from the Museum's extensive photographic archive and contributions from many of the individuals interviewed. The book retails at £9.99 and is available from all good bookshops.
History of Warrington Book
Local firms Lockers, Greenalls, Tinsley Wire and Hancock & Wood have joined private individuals and English Partnerships in the sponsorship of a new History of Warrington book to mark the Millennium., The book, which will be written and researched by acclaimed local historian, Dr Alan Crosby, will be the first single volume history for over 30 years.
We stock postcards covering over 200 artists, from Aktoto and African Art to Yaskil and Whistler, via Van Gogh, Keith Haring and Heath Robinson.
Also available are postcard and poster books, prints in a variety of sizes including outsize, stationary and wrapping paper.

The shop is open from 11am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday, and 10am to 3.30pm on Saturdays.
Seating is available in the shop area, as well as hot and cold drinks from the vending machine.
