Warrington Museum's Numismatic collections (coins, token, medals etc) total over 6,000 objects. Most notable are the British Trade Token Collection and in particular the 17th Century Lancashire Trade Tokens which are of regional importance. The museum also holds collections of Roman Copper coins, British and Foreign coins and 19th and 20th Century medals. 

Unfortunately there is no permanent Numismatic display but the collections can be viewed by appointment.
